What to expect from the trail

  • The trail is open all year-round.
  • This route is rather popular.
  • The condition of the path is mostly OK, but it has some narrow or crumbling parts.
  • There are not many signs, marking the way.
  • The trail has some parts in the shade but not much.
  • There are few benches along the trail.
  • If you want to make your hike more versatile start from the first option and after reaching the village, continue your journey and walk the beautiful streets of Choirokoitia village, after that return to the start of the trail going by E133 road. This will add up to 4 km and an hour to your hike.

  • Spend a half an hour by exploring the Neolithic Settlement of Choirokoitia, which was populated from the 7th to the 4th millennium B.C. It is included in UNESCO World Heritage List as is one of the most important prehistoric sites in the eastern Mediterranean. For the location pin, click here.
