The Pissouromoutti nature trail is a short loop starting at the Smigies picnic site and winding up Pissouromoutti mountain. While modest in height at 420 meters, it ranks among the tallest peaks in this part of the island. Its unique flat, table-like summit spans an area roughly half the size of a football field.
The trail takes you through a peaceful pine forest before reaching the summit, where you’re rewarded with breathtaking views of the Akamas Peninsula, Chrysochou Bay, and Smigies Mountain—the largest and tallest of the table-top peaks in the area.
The final stretch leading to the trail is a dirt road with some holes and bumps. Fortunately, most of them are easy to navigate in any car.
You can park your car anywhere along the road, or drive directly to the start of the trail, where you'll find parking at the Smigies picnic site. For the location pin, click here.
