How to get here
  • There is a free parking lot not far from the trail start. For the location pin, click here.
  • The asphalt road to the parking lot is of good quality.
  • As it is a mountain road, be prepared for a lot of twists and turns, and be mindful of weather conditions in the mountains, as they may differ from other parts of the island. During winter months, some mountain roads might be open only to four-wheel-drive vehicles or cars with winter chains on tires.

Suggestions to enhance your experience
  • A short 10-minute drive from the trailhead will bring you to the Troodos Botanical Garden, situated at an altitude of 1400 meters within the boundaries of an old asbestos mine. The garden features a wide variety of plants, including many endemic to Cyprus. For the location pin, click here.
